কানাইঘাট দীঘীরপার পূর্ব ইউনিয়নের দর্পনগর পশ্চিমনালুহারা গ্রামের ৩ সন্তানের এক জননী গলায় ফাস লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে। লাশউদ্ধারকারী কানাইঘাট থানার এস আই মজিবুর রহমান জানিয়েছেন, দর্পনগর পশ্চিমগ্রামের সুহেল আহমদ এর স্ত্রী গোলসানারা বেগম (২৮) গতকাল শুক্রবার দুপুর দেড় টারদিকে স্বামীর বসত ঘরের একটি কক্ষের তীরের সাথে গলায় রশি পেচিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করে।
তার লাশ উদ্ধার করে সিলেট মর্গে প্রেরণের প্রস্তুতি চলছে বলে তিনি জানান। স্থানীয়সূত্রে জানা যায়, আত্মহননকারীর স্বামী সুহেল আহমদ এ সময় মসজিদে জোম্মারনামাজে ছিলেন। এই সুযোগে একা বাড়ীতে গলায় ফাস লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেগোলসানারা বেগম। এ ঘটনায় আত্মহননকারী গোলসানারা বেগম এর পিতা-ফয়জুল হকথানায় একটি অপমৃত্যু মামলা দায়ের করেছেন। তবে কি কারনে গোলাসানারা বেগমআত্নহত্যা করেছে তার কারণ জানা যায়নি।
