সুনামগঞ্জের জগন্নাথপুরে সরকারি টিসিবি পণ্য কিনতে মানুষের দীর্ঘ লাইন দেখা গেছে। ৮ জুলাই বৃহস্পতিবার উপজেলা পরিষদ চত্বরে টিসিবি পণ্য বিক্রি হয়। টিসিবি ডিলার মেসার্স পলাশ ট্রেডার্সের মালিক ব্যবসায়ী ধনেশ চন্দ্র রায়ের মাধ্যমে পিকআপ গাড়িযোগে টিসিবি পণ্য বিক্রি করা হয়েছে। জনপ্রতি ৪ লিটার সোয়াবিন, ১ কেজি চিনি ও ১ কেজি মশুর ডাল করে ২৫০ জনের মধ্যে বিক্রি করার কথা থাকলেও এখানে পাওয়া যায় শুধু সোয়াবিন। তা দেখে উপস্থিত ক্রেতাদের মধ্যে উত্তেজনার সৃষ্টি হয়।
এ সুযোগে ২/১ ব্যক্তি উত্তেজিত জনতাকে আরো উস্কে দিয়ে পরিস্থিতি বে-সামাল করতে চায়। খবর পেয়ে জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা পদ্মাসন সিংহ ঘটনাস্থলে এসে পরিস্থিতি শান্ত করেন। এ সময় পণ্যের তুলনায় ক্রেতা বেশি থাকায় জনপ্রতি ২ লিটার সোয়াবিন বিক্রির অনুমতি দেন। পরে সেই অনুপাতে ৫০০ জনের মধ্যে শুধু সোয়াবিন বিক্রি করা হয়। এর মধ্যে বরাদ্দকৃত চিনি ও ডাল রাণীগঞ্জ বাজারে ২৫০ জনের মধ্যে বিক্রি করা হয়েছে বলে টিসিবি ডিলার ধনেশ চন্দ্র রায় জানান।
টিসিবির পণ্য প্রতি লিটার সোয়াবিন বিক্রি হয় ১০০ টাকায়। যা বাজারে বিক্রি হচ্ছে ১৪৫ থেকে ১৫০ টাকায়। প্রতি কেজি চিনি ৫৫ টাকা ও প্রতি কেজি মশুর ডাল ৫৫ টাকায় বিক্রি হয়। যা বাজারে বিক্রি হচ্ছে ৭০ থেকে ৯০ টাকায়। যে কারণে কমদামে টিসিবির পণ্য কিনতে ক্রেতাদের দীর্ঘ লাইন হয়। এমন অভিমত সাধারণ মানুষের।
