আবৃত্তিশিল্পে সার্বিক অবদানের জন্য প্রবর্তিত হলো ‘বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব জাতীয় আবৃত্তি পদক’।
জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান এর জন্মশতবার্ষিকী এবং বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার সুবর্ণজয়ন্তীতে ‘বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব জাতীয় আবৃত্তি পদক’ প্রবর্তন করেছে বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ।
সম্প্রতি রাজধানীর ঢাকা রিপোর্টার্স ইউনিটির সাগর-রুনি মিলনায়তনে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ জানিয়েছে, এ বছর পদকটি প্রথমবারের মতো দেশবরেণ্য গুণী গোলাম মুস্তাফাকে ‘বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব জাতীয় আবৃত্তি পদক’ এ ভূষিত করা হচ্ছে। বিশ্বজুড়ে বাংলা ভাষার বরেণ্য আবৃত্তিশিল্পীদের প্রতি বছর এ পদক প্রদান করা হবে।
সংবাদ সম্মেলনে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ এর সভাপতি সাংসদ আসাদুজ্জামান নূর।
তিনি জানান, বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ প্রতি বছর ৩১ মার্চ ‘বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব জাতীয় আবৃত্তি পদক’ প্রদান করবে। কিন্তু এ বছর করোনা পরিস্থিতির হঠাৎ অবনতি হওয়ায় আয়োজনটি ২০২১ এর অক্টোবরে করা হবে। সে সময় স্বাধীনতার সুবর্ণজয়ন্তীতে বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ এর জাতীয় আবৃত্তি উৎসবের প্রথম দিন পদকটি প্রদান করা হবে। ২০২০ এর ‘গোলাম মুস্তাফা আবৃত্তি পদক’, ‘বৃষ্টি-দোলা পদক’ এবং ২০২১ এর ‘কামরুল হাসান মঞ্জু পদক’ও একই অনুষ্ঠানে তুলে দেওয়া হবে।
লিখিত বক্তব্যে মো. আহ্কাম উল্লাহ্ বলেন, ঐতিহাসিক ৭ই মার্চের ভাষণ বাংলার শ্রেষ্ঠ কবিতা আর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান সেই কবিতার মধ্য দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ কবি ও আবৃত্তিশিল্পী। তাই, স্বাধীনতার এই মহানায়কের নামে জাতীয় আবৃত্তি পদকটি প্রবর্তন করা হয়েছে। পদক প্রবর্তনে অনুমোদনসহ প্রয়োজনীয় আনুষ্ঠানিকতা সম্পন্ন করতে পরিষদ গত কয়েকমাস ধরে কাজ করেছে। জাতীয় পদক প্রবর্তনের অনুমোদন পাওয়ার পর সেই পদক জাতির পিতার নামে প্রদানের জন্য ‘জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান মেমোরিয়াল ট্রাস্ট’রও অনুমোদন পেয়েছে বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ। এই ট্রাস্টের সভাপতি বঙ্গবন্ধুকন্যা শেখ হাসিনা।
বঙ্গবন্ধুর নামে পদক প্রবর্তনের অনুমতি দেয়ায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও বঙ্গবন্ধুকন্যা শেখ হাসিনার কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদের নেতারা। এসময় আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন পরিষদের সভাপতিম-লীর সদস্য বেলায়েত হোসেন, রফিকুল ইসলাম, রেজীনা ওয়ালী লীনা, যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক আজহারুল হক আজাদ, মাসুদুজ্জামান, রাশেদ হাসান ও কাজী মাহতাব সুমন।
বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বিভিন্ন প্রদক প্রদান করে আসছে। এর মধ্যে ‘গোলাম মুস্তাফা আবৃত্তি পদক’ দেওয়া হচ্ছে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে। এই পদকে ভূষিত গুণীজনদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন ওয়াহিদুল হক, নরেণ বিশ্বাস, নাজিম মাহমুদ, আশরাফুল আলম, আসাদুজ্জামান নূর, ভাস্বর বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়, নিরঞ্জন অধিকারী, কামরুল হাসান মঞ্জু, পীযূষ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়, কেয়া চৌধুরী প্রমুখ।
তরুণ আবৃত্তিশিল্পীদের জন্য বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ প্রদান করে ‘বৃষ্টি-দোলা পদক’। সম্প্রতি সাংগঠনিক আবৃত্তি চর্চাকে উৎসাহিত করতে বছরের সেরা আবৃত্তি প্রযোজনার জন্য ‘কামরুল হাসান মঞ্জু পদক’ প্রবর্তন করেছে বাংলাদেশ আবৃত্তি সমন্বয় পরিষদ।
