মো: বাবলু মল্লিক, কালিয়া (নড়াইল) প্রতিনিধি : কালিয়া উপজেলার চোরখালী-বড়দিয়া আশ্রায়ন প্রকল্পে সাগর বিশ্বাস (২৩) নামে এক যুবক আত্মহত্যা করেছে। ১৯ এপ্রিল (সোমবার) দুপুর ২ টার দিকে এ আত্মহত্যার ঘটনা ঘটে। নিহত সাগর বিশ্বাস ওই আশ্রায়ন প্রকল্পের বাসিন্দা শাহিন বিশ্বাসের ছেলে।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, সাগর ইট ভাঙ্গা ট্রলিতে দিন মজুরের কাজ করত। সে মাগুরা জেলার মোহাম্মাদপুরে বিবাহ করে। তার স্ত্রী বেশ কিছুদিন বাপের বাড়ী চলে গিয়েছে। সাগর তাকে আসতে বললেও স্বামীর ঘরে আসেনা। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় গতকাল ১৮ এপ্রিল সাগরের পিতামাতার সাথে তার ঝগড়া হয় এবং পরদিন সাগর গলায় ফাঁস দিয়ে আত্মহননের করে। প্রতিবেশীরা তাকে উদ্ধার করে কালিয়া উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে গেলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষনা করেন।
কালিয়া থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) শেখ কনি মিয়া বলেন, লাশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য নড়াইল মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে থানায় একটি অপমৃত্যু মামলা হয়েছে।
