করোনা সংক্রমণ বেড়ে যাওয়ায় নড়াইলে এক সপ্তাহের লকডাউনের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে জেলা প্রশাসন। শনিবার (১২ জুন) থেকে এ লকডাউন কার্যকর হবে।
এর আগে শুক্রবার (১১ জুন) রাত ৮টায় জেলা প্রশাসকের সম্মেলন কক্ষে জেলা করোনা প্রতিরোধ কমিটির এক জরুরি সভায় এ সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়। নড়াইলে জেলার তিন পৌর এলাকাসহ করোনা সংক্রমণ বেড়ে যাওয়া ইউনিয়নগুলোতে লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেছে জেলা প্রশাসন।
সভায় জানানো হয়, শনিবার থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা থেকে সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্তু সাতদিন এ লকডাউন চলবে। নড়াইল পৌর, লোহাগড়া পৌর ও কালিয়া পৌর এলাকায় এ লকডাউন চলবে। এছাড়া সদর উপজেলার কলোড়া, শিংগা শোলপুর, বিছালি ইউনিয়ন ও লোহাগড়ার শাল নগর ইউনিয়নে লকডাউন চলবে।
এছাড়া লোহাগড়া ও কালিয়া উপজেলা প্রশাসন করোনার সংক্রমণ বিবেচনা করে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নিবে।
করোনা প্রতিরোধে জেলা প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে শতভাগ মাস্ক নিশ্চিত করতে ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত পরিচালনাসহ পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকেও কঠোর অবস্থান নেয়া হবে বলে জানানো হয় সভায়।
নড়াইলের জেলা প্রশাসক মো. হাবিবুর রহমান বলেন, ‘সীমান্তবর্তী জেলাগুলো থেকে কিছু ভারত ফেরত লোক লুকিয়ে জেলায় প্রবেশ করায় সংক্রমণের হার হঠাৎ বেড়ে গেছে। আপাতত আংশিক লকডাউন ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। পরবর্তীতে পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় পুরো জেলায় লকডাউন ঘোষণা করা হতে পারে।’
