ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির ৭১তম জন্মদিন উপলক্ষে ৭১টি লাল গোলাপে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও উষ্ণ শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। শুক্রবার (১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার পক্ষ থেকে গোলাপ ফুলের তোড়া ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দফতরে পাঠায় নয়া দিল্লিস্থ বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশন।
উল্লেখ্য, ১৯৫০ সালের ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর নরেন্দ্র মোদি ভারতের গুজরাটের ভাডনগর শহরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি ৭ অক্টোবর ২০০১ থেকে ২২ মে ২০১৪ সাল পর্যন্ত গুজরাটের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ছিলেন। পরবর্তী সময়ে ২০১৪ সালের ২৬ মে থেকে ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।
ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী কার্যালয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, আজ ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে আগামী ৭ অক্টোবর নরেন্দ্র মোদির রাজ্য ও কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের দায়িত্বভার গ্রহণের ২০ বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষে রাষ্ট্রীয় ও দলীয় পর্যায়ে ২০ দিনব্যাপী ‘সেবা ও সমর্পণ অভিযান’ শীর্ষক ব্যাপক উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মসূচি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। এই কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে আজ ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর তার জন্মদিনে ভারতে দেড় কোটি কোভিড ভ্যাকসিন প্রদানের লক্ষ্যমাত্রা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে, যা দেশটি এখন পর্যন্ত একদিনে সর্বোচ্চ।
