ঢাকা, ময়মনসিংহ, রাজশাহী, রংপুর, খুলনা, বরিশাল, চট্টগ্রাম ও সিলেট বিভাগে মৃদু থেকে মাঝারী ধরনের তাপপ্রবাহ বয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং তা অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে।
সোমবার সন্ধ্যা ৬টা থেকে পরবর্তী ২৪ ঘন্টার আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, এই সময়ে সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে যশোরে ৩৯ দশমিক ৮ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস এবং সর্বনিম্ন তাপমাত্রা শ্রীমঙ্গলে ২১ দশমিক ৮ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। অস্থায়ীভাবে আংশিক মেঘলা আকাশসহ আবহাওয়া শুষ্ক থাকতে পারে বলে জানিয়েছে আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর।

এছাড়া আগামী দুইদিনে আবহাওয়ার উল্লেখযোগ্য পরিবর্তন নেই। সপ্তাহের শেষে বৃষ্টি বা বজ্রসহ বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এসময় কমতে পারে দিনের তাপমাত্রা।
আবহাওয়ার সিনপটিক অবস্থায় বলা হয়, লঘুচাপের বাড়তি অংশ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও এর কাছাকাছি এলাকায় অবস্থান করছে। মৌসুমী লঘুচাপ দক্ষিণ বঙ্গোপসাগরে অবস্থান করছে।
২৫ এপ্রিল দেশে সাত বছরের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি তাপমাত্রা ছিল। এদিন সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছিল যশোরে ৪১ দশমিক ২ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। অন্য বিভাগগুলোর তাপমাত্রা ৩৯ থেকে ৪১ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াসের মধ্যেই ছিল।
