করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ১১৪ জন মারা গেছেন। এ নিয়ে দেশে মোট মৃতের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৫ হাজার ৬২৭ জনে।
নতুন করে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে ৪ হাজার ৯৬৬ জনের।
বুধবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতর থেকে পাঠানো করোনাবিষয়ক নিয়মিত সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
গত ৭ জুলাই প্রথমবারের মতো দেশে করোনায় মৃতের সংখ্যা ২০০ ছাড়ায়। ১৩ আগস্ট মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা ২শর নিচে নামা শুরু করে।
গত বছরের ৮ মার্চ দেশে প্রথম ৩ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়। এর ১০ দিন পর ওই বছরের ১৮ মার্চ দেশে এ ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রথম একজনের মৃত্যু হয়।
