করোনা সংক্রমণ বৃদ্ধি পাওয়া ফরিদপুরসহ দুই উপজেলায় এক সপ্তাহের লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেছে জেলা প্রশাসন। রোববার (২০ জুন) জেলা প্রশাসন কার্যালয় থেকে জারি করা এক গণবিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানা গেছে।
ফরিদপুর, ভাঙ্গা ও বোয়ালমারী উপজেলায় আগামী ২১ জন থেকে এই লকডাউন কার্যকর হবে। ওইদিন সকাল ৬টা থেকে ২৭ জুন মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত তিন উপজেলার পৌর এলাকায় সব ধরনের যানবাহন প্রবেশ ও বহির্গমন বন্ধ থাকবে।
জেলা প্রশাসকের গণবিজ্ঞপ্তি সূত্রে জানা গেছে, সব ধরনের সামাজিক, রাজনৈতিক ও ধর্মীয় সমাবেশ, ভ্রাম্যমাণ ফাস্ট ফুড, হোটেল, মুদির দোকান, চায়ের দোকান, মিষ্টির দোকান বন্ধ থাকবে। তবে অফিস, ব্যাংক ও আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান কঠোর স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে খোলা থাকবে।
ফরিদপুরের সিভিল সার্জন ডা. সিদ্দীকুর রহমান বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, ফরিদপুরে গত ২৩ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে করোনাভাইরাসে আরও ২১ আক্রান্ত হয়েছে। এদিন কোনো মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া যায়নি।
