ফরিদপুরে ৬ চোরাই মোটরসাইকেলসহ ৫ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে কোতোয়ালি থানা পুলিশ। এ ব্যাপারে আজ দুপুর ১২ টায় পুলিশ সুপারের কার্যালয় এক প্রেস ব্রিফিংয়ে অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার জামাল পাশা সাংবাদিকদের জানান, উক্ত আসামি সাদ্দাম হোসেন পিতা আবদুল বারেক মোল্লা থানা মধুখালী জেলা ফরিদপুর চোরাই মোটরসাইকেল ক্রয় বিক্রয় সাথে জড়িত।
এবং তার বাড়িতে একাধিক চোরাই মোটরসাইকেল আছে উক্ত তত্ত্বের ভিত্তিতে পুলিশ সুপার মোঃ আলিমুজ্জামান বিপিএম এর নির্দেশে গোয়েন্দা শাখা ফরিদপুর এর নেতৃত্বে এসআই মাহবুবুল করিম এসআই খায়রুল বাশার এসআই শামীম হোসেন এসআই আব্দুর রহিম সঙ্গীও ফোর্সের সহায়তায় গত ৯ জুন রাতে অভিযান শুরু করে আজ সকালে অভিযান পরিচালনা করে চোরাই মোটরসাইকেলসহ মটরসাইকেল ক্রয়-বিক্রয় ও নিজ দখলে অপরাধে সাদ্দাম হোসেন, পিতা বারেক মোল্লা, বিপুল মোল্লা ওরফে পিপল মোল্লা পিতা নুর মোহাম্মদ মোল্লা, ইলাহি মোল্লা পিতা-মৃত মোশারেফ মোল্লা, তুহিন মোল্লা পিতা পিতা আকবর মোল্লা চন্দনী উভয় থানা বোয়ালমারী জেলা ফরিদপুর গ্রেপ্তার করা হয় ।
আসামি সাদ্দাম হোসেন দখল থাকা একটা টিভিএস অ্যাপাচি আরটিআর একটি পালসার মোটরসাইকেল, বিপুল মোল্লা ও রফিকুল মোল্লা এর দখলে থাকা একটি ডিসকভার ১২৫ সিসি ইলাহি মুল দখলে ডিসকভার ১২৫সিসি , শহীদ মোল্লার দখলে থাকা চোরা টিভিএস অ্যাপাচি আরটিআর পরিত্যক্ত অবস্থা মধুখালী ও বোয়ালমারী থানায় এলাকায় অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ৬ টি মোটরসাইকেল উদ্ধার করা হয় আসামিদের বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হচ্ছে।
