রাজধানীর মতিঝিলে একটি গাড়ির গ্যারেজে আগুন লেগে অন্তত দুটি বাস ও দুটি প্রাইভেটকার পুড়ে গেছে।
রোববার বেলা ১১টার দিকে মধুমিতা সিনেমা হলের পেছনে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে।
ফায়ার সার্ভিস নিয়ন্ত্রণ কক্ষের কর্তব্যরত কর্মকর্তা এরশাদ হোসেন জানান, মধুমিতা সিনেমা হলের পেছনে একটি গ্যারেজে আগুন লাগার খবর পেয়ে তাদের কর্মীরা সেখানে যান। বেলা সাড়ে ১১টার দিকে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে।
তিনি বলেন, গ্যারেজের ব্যাপক ক্ষতি হয়েছে। দুটি বাসের পাশাপাশি দুটো প্রাইভেটকার পুড়ে গেছে।
তবে কীভাবে সেখানে আগুন লাগল তার কারণ জানাতে পারেননি ফায়ার সার্ভিসকর্মীরা।
