খুলনার পাইকগাছা থানা পুলিশ গত ৫ মাসে ২১ টি হারানো মোবাইল ফোন ও ভুল নম্বরে চলে যাওয়া বিকাশের ১ লাখ ৫২ হাজার টাকা উদ্ধার করেছে।
বিভিন্ন সময়ে উপজেলার বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে হারিয়ে যাওয়া ২১ টি মোবাইল ফোনসহ ভূল নম্বরে চলে যাওয়া বিকাশের ১ লাখ ৫২ হাজার টাকা উদ্ধার করেছে পাইকগাছা থানা পুলিশ। এর আগে ভূক্তভোগীরা ঐসব মোবাইল ও টাকা উদ্ধারে ব্যার্থ হয়ে থানায় পৃথক পৃথক জিডি করেন।
থানা পুলিশ প্রত্যেকটি জিডি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বের সাথে বিবেচনায় নিয়ে আইনী প্রক্রিয়ায় আধুনিক তথ্য প্রযুক্তির সহায়তায় এসব মোবাইল ফোন ও হৃত টাকা উদ্ধার করে স্ব স্ব মালিকের কাছে ফেরৎ দিয়েছে।
থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মো: এজাজ শফী জানান, তার সুষ্ঠু দিক নির্দেশনায় থানার এএসআই নাজমুল ইসলাম অত্যন্ত বুদ্ধিদীপ্ত ভাবে যথাযথ প্রক্রিয়া ও তৎপরতায় মোবাইল ও টাকাগুলো উদ্ধার করেন।
সর্বশেষ উপজেলার লস্কর গ্রামের আবু ইসহাকের স্যামসন এ-২০ মোবাইল ফোনটি মঙ্গলবার যশোরের অভয়নগর থেকে ও সোমবার প্রতাপকাটি গ্রামের শাহনারা বেগমের আইটেল মোবাইলটি খুলনা থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়। এনিয়ে গত মে মাস থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত ২১ টি মোবাইল ফোন উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। একই সময়ে দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয় বিকাশে পাঠানো ভুল নম্বরে যাওয়া ১ লাখ ৫২ হাজারমন ৪৪ টাকা।
ওসি মো: এজাজ শফী বলেন, সার্বিক আইন শৃংখলা রক্ষার পাশাপাশি হারানো মোবাইল ও টাকা উদ্ধারে পাইকগাছা থানা পুলিশের তৎপরতা অব্যাহত থাকবে।
