টাঙ্গাইলের কালিহাতী পৌরসভায় করোনা ভাইরাস (কোভিড-১৯) সহ বিভিন্ন প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ও দুস্থ পরিবারের মাঝে (জিআর) কর্মসূচীর আওতায় চাল ও নগদ অর্থ বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
মঙ্গলবার (১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকালে কালিহাতী পৌরসভা কার্যালয়ে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে ১ হাজার ৫০০ টি পরিবারের মাঝে ১০ কেজি করে চাল ও ২৫০ টি পরিবারের মাঝে পাঁচশত টাকা করে নগদ অর্থ বিতরণ কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধন করেন কালিহাতী উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান আনছার আলী বি.কম।
এসময় কালিহাতী পৌরসভার মেয়র মোহাম্মদ নুরুন্নবী সরকারের সভাপতিত্বে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান আখতারুজ্জামান, উপজেলা প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন কর্মকর্তা সেহাব উদ্দিন, ট্যাগ অফিসার ও উপজেলা তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তি অধিদপ্তরের সহকারী প্রোগ্রামার মাহবুবুল আলম, কালিহাতী পৌর আওয়ামীলীগের যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক হোসেন আলী, পৌরসভার প্যানেল মেয়র সোহেল রানা ও ভারপ্রাপ্ত সচিব শহীদুজ্জামান আকন্দ প্রমুখ।
