কেন্দ্রীয় নির্দেশনায় গাইবান্ধা জেলা স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের উদ্যোগে রংপুর বিভাগীয় টিমের উপস্থিতিতে জেলার সাতটি ইউনিটের মধ্যে সাঘাটা, ফুলছড়ি, সুন্দরগঞ্জ উপজেলা ও সুন্দরগঞ্জ পৌর স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের কমিটি গঠনের লক্ষ্যে এক কর্মীসভা মঙ্গলবার জেলা বিএনপি কার্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
এতে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সহ-সভাপতি মো. আসফ কবীর চৌধুরী শত।
জেলা স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের সভাপতি মো. আবু বকর সিদ্দিক স্বপনের সভাপতিত্বে ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক শাহজালাল সরকার খোকনের সঞ্চালনায় কর্মীসভায় অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে বক্তব্য রাখেন জেলা বিএনপির সাধারণ সম্পাদক মাহামুদুন্নবী টিটুল, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির উপদেষ্টা মিজানুর রহমান মাসুম, রংপুর বিভাগের সহ-সভাপতি মাসুদ উন নবী খান, কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির যুগ্ম সম্পাদক ফিরোজ উদ্দিন আহমেদ রুবেল, মো. রুবেল মাহমুদ বাবু ও রেজাউল করিম বাবু, জেলা নেতা শফিকুল ইসলাম রুবেল, জেলা ছাত্রদলের সাধারণ সম্পাদক তারেকুজ্জামান তারেক প্রমুখ। পরে পর্যায়ক্রমে ইউনিটগুলোর আহবায়ক কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হবে।
