নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম অনুযায়ী, এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার নাম ও গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতির পরিবর্তন হতে পারে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার কাছে সোমবার জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম রূপরেখা উপস্থাপনের পর সচিবালয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ কথা জানান শিক্ষামন্ত্রী দীপু মনি।
দীপু মনি বলেন, একাদশ ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির চূড়ান্ত পরীক্ষার ফল মিলে হবে এইচএসসির ফল। এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার নাম ও গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতির পরিবর্তন হতে পারে।
তিনি বলেন, দশম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত বিজ্ঞান, মানবিক ও বাণিজ্য বিভাজন থাকবে না। তৃতীয় শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত বার্ষিক পরীক্ষাও হবে না।
পঞ্চম শ্রেণির প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী (পিইসি) এবং অষ্টম শ্রেণির জুনিয়র স্কুল সার্টিফিকেট (জেএসসি) পরীক্ষাও থাকবে না বলে জানান মন্ত্রী।
এছাড়া শুধু ১০ শ্রেণির পাঠ্যক্রমে হবে পাবলিক পরীক্ষা হবে বলে জানান তিনি।
