মোংলা উপজেলা মাধ্যমিকও প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অফিস সুত্রে জানাযায়, করোনা প্রাদুর্ভাবের কারণে গেল বছরের ১৭ মার্চ থেকে দেশের সব শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানবন্ধ হয়।
সংক্রমণ কিছুটা কমে আসায় সারাদেশের মত মোংলায় প্রথম ধাপে ৭২ টি প্রাথমিক, ২৮ টি মাধ্যমিক, ৪ টি উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক ও ১৩ টি মাদ্রাসা খুলেছে আজ থেকে।
মোংলা সেন্টপলস্ উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ব্রাদার বিকাশ মন্ডল জানান, দির্ঘ দিন পর স্কুল খোলায় ছাত্র- ছাত্রীদের ফুল দিয়ে বরণ করে নেয়া হয়েছে স্কুলে। তিনি জানান, পাঠদান শুরুর আগে ১০ মিনিট কোভিট-১৯ সচেতনতা বিষয়ে শিক্ষক্ষার্থীদের অবহিত করা হবে। আজ ক্লাস শুরুর প্রথম দিন সকাল ৯ টা থেকে শুরু হয়ে সকাল ১১ টা পর্যন্ত পাঠদান চলবে বলে জানান তিনি।
দির্ঘ দিন পর স্কুলে উপস্থিত হতে পারায় আর খুশি শিক্ষার্থীরা। সেন্টপলস্ উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের পঞ্চম শ্রেনীর ছাত্র মোঃ রিওয়ান আহম্মেদ নাবিল ও নাজনিন আক্তার জানান,ক্লাশ শুরুর পুর্বে স্কুলে প্রবেশের আগে হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার,তাপ মাত্রা মাপাসহ ফুল দিয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের বরণ করে নেয়া হয়েছে এটি অনেক সুন্দর মুহুত্ব উপভোগ করেছি।
মোংলা উপজেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা অফিসার আনোয়ার কাদির জানান, সরকারী নিয়ম মেনে সবকটি স্কুলে পাঠদান করতে হবে। তিনি জানান, সরকারী নিয়ম মানা হচ্ছে কিনা এ জন্য পর্যায় ক্রমে তারা সবকটি স্কুল পরিদর্শন করবেন।
