গাইবান্ধা সুুন্দরগঞ্জ উপজেলার দহবন্দ ইউনিয়নের দোলাপাড়া গ্রাম- প্রায় অধ্যশত রাস্তার বেহাল অবস্থা সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। এসব রাস্তা সঠিক সময়ে সংস্কার কাজ না করায় বর্ষার সময়ে অতি বৃষ্টির ফলে রাস্তা ভেঙ্গে অস্তিত্ব হারাতে বসেছে। বর্তমানে এসব কাচা রাস্তার জনদূর্ভোগ চরমে, যেন দেখার কেউ নেই!
সুুন্দরগঞ্জ উপজেলার ১৫ টি ইউনিয়ন ও একটি আধুনিক পৌরসভা নিয়ে গঠিত। পৌর এলাকার ১নং ওয়ার্ডের পশ্চিমে চৌধরানী রংপুর মহসড়কের দোলাপাড়া গ্রামের সহিদার মিয়ার মুদি দোকানের পাশ দিয়ে মজিদ ব্যাপারীর বাড়ীর সামন দিয়ে তারাপুর ইউনিয়নে যাওয়া কাচা রাস্তা দু-ইউনিয়নের সিমান্তবর্তি এলাকা হওয়ায় কাচা রাস্তা বেহালদর্শায় পরিনিত হয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যে যানবাহন চলাচল অনুপযোগী হয়ে পড়েছে। পুকুর পাড় কিংবা বিলের তীর দিয়ে বয়ে যাওয়া রাস্তার পাশের সাইডগুলো ভেঙ্গে পড়তেছে। এই কাচা রাস্তা দিয়ে গ্রামের প্রায় ১শ পরিবারের সদস্যরা চলাচল করে।
তাছাড়া গ্রামীণ রাস্তাগুলোতে ভারী যানবাহন চলাচল করায় ছোট বড় গর্ত সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। আর এসব গর্তে বৃষ্টির পানি জমে কাদায় পরিনত হয়ে পড়ে থাকতে দেখা যায়। এই কাচা রাস্তা দিয়ে প্রতিদিনে চলছে কাকড়া, সিএনজি টলি,ব্যাটারি চালিত অটো রিস্কা, ভ্যান বৃষ্টিবর্ষার সময় কাচা রাস্তাটি চলার অউপযোগী হয়ে পড়েছে।
এদিকে স্থানীয় চেয়ারম্যান কিংবা উপজেলা প্রকৌশলী বিভাগ রাস্তা সংস্কারে তেমন গুরুত্ব না দেওয়ায় গ্রামের সাধারণ মানুষের বিষন্নতা দিন দিন বেড়ে যাচ্ছে। এর কারণ হচ্ছে এসব রাস্তা দিয়ে সিএনজি বা অটো রিক্সা চলাচল করতে চায় না। গেলেও অতিরিক্ত ভাড়া গুনতে হচ্ছে এসব ভূক্তভোগী যাত্রীসাধারনের। স্থানীয়দের দারি অনেক বার রাস্তার বিষয়টি স্থানীয় ইউ পি চেয়ারম্যান অবগত করা হয়েছে তারপর ও এখনো কোন ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করছে না তারা। দেশ ডিজিটাল হচ্ছে কিন্তু গ্রামের রাস্তা এখনো কাচায় রয়ে যাচ্ছে।
এবিষয়ে দহবন্দ ইউনিয়ন চেয়ারম্যান গোলাম কবির মুকুল জানান, রাস্তার বিষয়টি আমি অবগত আছি, আগামী সুখনা মৌসুমে রাস্তার মাটীভরাটের কাজ শুরু করবো আগামীতে প্রকল্পো ধরিয়ে রাস্তাপাকা কাজ করবো।
