সিরাজগঞ্জের হাটিকুমরুল-বনপাড়া মহাসড়কে ট্রাকচাপায় দিপঙ্কর দ্বীপ (২০) নামে এক কলেজছাত্র নিহত হয়েছেন।আজ বুধবার (১১ আগস্ট) সকাল সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে মহাসড়কের সলঙ্গা গোজা ব্রিজ এলাকায় এ ঘটনা ঘটে।নিহত দিপঙ্কর দ্বীপ জেলার সলঙ্গা থানার মধ্য ভরমোহনি গ্রামের শ্রী কেষ্টর ছেলে।
তিনি সলঙ্গা ডিগ্রি কলেজের অনার্স প্রথমবর্ষের ছাত্র ছিলেন।হাটিকুমরুল হাইওয়ে থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ শাহজাহান আলী জানান, সলঙ্গা থানার গোজা ব্রিজ এলাকায় রাস্তা পার হওয়ার সময় দ্রুতগামী একটি ট্রাক দীপকে চাপা দেয়। পরে হাসপাতালে নেয়ার পথে তার মৃত্যু হয়।
