রংপুর বিভাগে করোনায় গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ১০ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ সময় নতুন করে শনাক্ত হয়েছেন ৬৭৩ জন। এ নিয়ে বিভাগে করোনায় মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১০২৪ জনে।
আজ রোববার (৮ আগস্ট) দুপুরে রংপুর বিভাগীয় স্বাস্থ্য পরিচালক ডা. মো. মোতাহারুল ইসলাম এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
ডা. মো. মোতাহারুল ইসলাম জানান, ২৪ ঘন্টায় করোনায় মারা যাওয়া ব্যক্তিদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন রংপুরের ২ জন, পঞ্চগড়ের ১ জন, কুড়িগ্রামের ১ জন, ঠাকুরগাওয়ের ১ জন ও দিনাজপুরের ৫ জন ।
এ সময়ে বিভাগে ২ হাজার ৭৪৯ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে। এতে দিনাজপুরের ৭৬ জন, রংপুরের ২৮০ জন, নীলফামারীর ৪৬ জন, পঞ্চগড়ের ৪১ জন, কুড়িগ্রামের ৬২ জন, গাইবান্ধার ৬৪ জন, ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের ৬৪ জন ও লালমনিরহাটের ৪০ জনের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। আক্রান্তের হার ২৪ দশমিক ৪৮ শতাংশ।
এ পর্যন্ত বিভাগে করোনায় মৃত ১০২৪ জনের মধ্যে রয়েছেন দিনাজপুরে ২৯৩ জন, রংপুরে ২৩২ জন, ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ে ১৯৭, নীলফামারীতে ৭২, পঞ্চগড়ে ৬৪, লালমনিরহাটে ৫৭, কুড়িগ্রামে ৫৭ ও গাইবান্ধায় ৫২ জন। ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সুস্থ হয়েছেন ৫৩৪ জন।
বিভাগে এখন পর্যন্ত করোনা শনাক্ত হওয়া ৪৮ হাজার ৩৫১ জনের মধ্যে রয়েছেন দিনাজপুরের ১৩ হাজার ৩৩০ জন, রংপুরের ১০ হাজার ৯৪৯ জন, ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের ৬ হাজার ৫০৫ জন, গাইবান্ধার ৪ হাজার ১৫৭ জন, নীলফামারীর ৩ হাজার ৯৩৫ জন, কুড়িগ্রামের ৩ হাজার ৯৯৫ জন, লালমনিরহাটের ২ হাজার ৪১৭ জন এবং পঞ্চগড়ের ৩ হাজার ৬৩ জন।
করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্তের শুরু থেকে এ পর্যন্ত রংপুর বিভাগে ২ লাখ ২৯ হাজার ৬৬৭ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে।
