মেহেরপুরে যুবককে পিটিয়ে জখম
মেহেরপুরের জমিতে ময়লা পানি প্রবেশ করানোর প্রতিবাদে আহসানুল হক(৩৫) নামের এক যুবককে পিটিয়ে জখম করা হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার (৩০ জুলাই) দুপুরে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। আহত আহসানুল হক সদর উপজেলার শালিকা গ্রামের জিরাফত ইসলামের ছেলে।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, আহসানুল ও তার প্রতিবেশী আওয়ালের ছেলে আসাদুলের সাথে জমিতে ময়লা পানি প্রবেশ করানোকে কেন্দ্র করে, কথা কাটাকাটির এক পর্যায়ে সংঘর্ষে জড়িয়ে পড়ে তারা। এ সময় দেশীয় অস্ত্র দিয়ে আসাদুলের লোকজন আসানুলের ওপর হামলা চালায়।
পরে স্থানীয়রা রক্তাক্ত অবস্থায় তাকে মেহেরপুর ২৫০ শয্যা বিশিষ্ট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসে,সেখানে অবস্থার অবনতি হলে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে রেফার করে।
মেহেরপুর সদর থানার ওসি শাহ দারা খান পিপিএম জানান,আহতর পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে লিখিত অভিযোগ পেলে তদন্তপূর্বক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
