বৃহস্পতিবার (২৯ জুলাই) দুপুরে জেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান মুহাম্মদ সাদেক কুরাইশীর পক্ষ থেকে জেলা প্রশাসক মাহবুবুর রহামানকে এসব উপহার সামগ্রী হন্তান্তর করেন জেলা পরিষদের প্যানেল চেয়ারম্যান নজরুল ইসলাম স্বপন।
স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা সামগ্রীর মধ্যে রয়েছে-মাস্ক, হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার, জীবানুনাশক সাবান।
জেলা পরিষদের প্যানেল চেয়ারম্যান নজরুল ইসলাম স্বপন বলেন, করোনাকালে জেলা প্রশাসন জীবনের ঝুঁকি নিয়ে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। এই দুঃসময়ে জেলা প্রশাসনের পাশে থাকতে পেরে আমরা গর্বিত। ভবিষ্যতেও জেলা প্রশাসনের সেবা মুলক কাজে জেলা পরিষদ পাশে থাকবে বলেও উল্লেখ করেন তিনি।

জেলা প্রশাসক মাহবুবুর রহমান বলেন, করোনার এই কঠিন পরিস্থিতির মধ্যেও জেলা পরিষদ আজ জেলা প্রশাসনকে স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা সামগ্রী দিয়েছে। এজন্য ধন্যবাদ জানাই জেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যানসহ অন্য সকলকে। করোনা মোকাবেলায় সকলকে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলতে হবে, তাহলেই করোনা মোকাবেলা করা সম্ভব। এজন্য সকলের সহযোগিতা কামনা করি।
