আগামী ২৩ জুলাই সকাল থেকে ফেরিতে যাত্রীবাহী সব ধরনের গাড়ি ও যাত্রী পরিবহন বন্ধ থাকবে। কঠোর স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে শুধুমাত্র জরুরি পণ্যবাহী গাড়ি ও অ্যাম্বুলেন্স পারাপার করা হবে।
বিআইডব্লিউটিসি গত ৯ জুলাই এ সংক্রান্ত বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করেছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২২ জুলাই) নৌপরিবহন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র তথ্য অফিসার জাহাঙ্গীর আলম খান এ তথ্য জানান।
তিনি জানান, করোনা ভাইরাসজনিত রোগ সংক্রমণের বর্তমান পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় মন্ত্রিপরিষদ বিভাগের অপর এক বিজ্ঞপিতে গত ১৩ জুলাইয়ের জারিকৃত প্রজ্ঞাপনের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে আগামী ২৩ জুলাই সকাল ৬টা থেকে ৫ আগস্ট দিনগত রাত ১২টা পর্যন্ত অভ্যন্তরীণ নৌপথে সব ধরনের যাত্রীবাহী নৌযান (লঞ্চ/স্পিডবোট/ট্রলার/অন্যান্য) চলাচল বন্ধ থাকবে।
বিআইডব্লিউটিএ গত ১৩ জুলাই নৌযান পরিচালনা সংক্রান্ত বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে।
এতে বলা হয়, অভ্যন্তরীণ নৌপথে চলাচলকারী যাত্রীবাহী নৌযান এর মালিক, মাস্টার, ড্রাইভার, স্টাফ, যাত্রীসাধারণ ও সংশ্লিষ্ট সবাইকে উক্ত নির্দেশনা মেনে চলতে বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে আদেশ অমান্যকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে আইন অনুযায়ী ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার কথা বলা হয়েছে।
