কুড়িগ্রামের ফুলবাড়ীতে সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি ও জাতীয় পার্টির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা হুসেইন মুহাম্মদ এরশাদের দ্বিতীয় মৃত্যু বার্ষিকী পালিত হয়েছে। তিনি ১৪ জুলাই সম্মিলিত সামরিক হাসপাতালে (সিএমএইচ) চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরন করেন।
১৯৩০ সালে ১ ফেব্রুয়ারি কুড়িগ্রামে নানার বাড়িতে জম্ম গ্রহন করেন সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি ও জাতীয় পার্টির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান হুসেইন মুহাম্মদ এরশাদ আর ২০১৯ সালে ১৪ জুলাই সবাইকে কাঁদিয়ে না ফেরার দেশে পাড়ি জমান তিনি।
এ উপলক্ষ্যে বুধবার উপজেলা জাতীয় পার্টির উদ্যোগে বড়ভিটা ইউনিয়নে দুপুর ২:০০টায় জাতীয় পার্টি অফিসে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনেই মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
এসময় জাতীয় পার্টির সভাপতি মইনুল হক, সাধারণ সম্পাদক আজিজার রহমান মাস্টার, সাবেক সভাপতি মজিদ সরদার, হবিবর রহমান, মজিবর রহমান, কামরুজ্জামান লাভলু,এনামুল হক বসুনিয়া, ডা: এনামুল কবির, মিজানুর রহমান এমদাদুল হক মাস্টার, নুরনবি ইসলাম, শাহানুর রহমান, আব্দুল জলিল ব্যাপারী প্রমূখ।
