এবার করোনায় আক্রান্ত হলেন ফেনী জেলা পরিষদ সদস্য এম. শফিকুল হোসেন মহিম।
ফেনী জেলা পরিষদের সদস্য ও পরশুরাম উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক এম. শফিকুল হোসেন মহিম টিকা নেয়ার পরও তাঁর দেহে করোনা সংক্রমণ উপস্থিতি পাওয়া গেছে।
মহিম গত সোমবার পরশুরাম উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নমুনা পরীক্ষা করেন। বুধবার (১৪ জুলাই) করোনা রিপোর্ট পজেটিভ আসে।
বর্তমানে মহিম চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী হোম আইসোলেশনে রয়েছে।
জানা যায়, জেলা পরিষদের অর্থায়নে ৭০ লাখ টাকা ব্যয় ত্রাণ বিতরণ কার্যক্রমে জেলা পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান খায়রুল বশর মজুমদার তপনের সফরসঙ্গী হিসেবে এম শফিকুল ইসলাম মহিম নিরলস পরিশ্রম করেছেন।
মহিম পরশুরাম উপজেলার বিভিন্ন গ্রাম সহ জেলার সবকটি উপজেলা ও ইউনিয়ন বিতরণের জন্য ঘুরাঘুরি করে করে অসুস্থ হয়ে যান। এছাড়াও মহিম পরশুরাম পৌর সভার মেয়র নিজাম উদ্দিন আহমেদ চৌধুরী সাজেলের সাত হাজার পরিবারের ত্রাণ বিতরণ কার্যক্রম নিরলস পরিশ্রম করে যাচ্ছেন।
এছাড়াও সালেহ উদ্দিন-হোসনেআরা কল্যাণ ট্রাস্ট এবং পৌর মেয়র নিজাম উদ্দিন আহমেদ চৌধুরী সাজেলের ব্যক্তিগত অর্থায়নের ত্রাণ সামগ্রী বিতরণে সক্রিয় ভূমিকা রাখেন।
মহিমের শারীরিক সুস্থতার জন্য তাঁর পরিবার সকলের কাছে দোয়া চেয়েছেন।
এর আগে ফেনী জেলা পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান ও ফেনী জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সহ-সভাপতি খায়রুল বাশার মজুমদার তপন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি আছেন। বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকদের পরামর্শক্রমে সোমবার রাতে তাকে রাজধানীর সেন্ট্রাল পুলিশ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়।
