কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অনাবাসিক শিক্ষার্থীদের ভ্যাকসিনের আওতায় আনতে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র চেয়ে নোটিশ দিবে বিশ্ববিদ্যাল য় প্রশাসন। কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রেজিস্ট্রার (চলতি দায়িত্ব) অধ্যাপক ড. মো: আবু তাহের এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
অধ্যাপক ড. মো: আবু তাহের বলেন, আমরা সকলের টিকা পাওয়ার বিষয়ে কাজ করছি। আর যাদের এনআইডি কার্ড নাই, তাদের বিষয়ে উপাচার্য মহোদয় নির্বাচন কমিশনকে চিঠি দিয়েছেন। যাতে ১৫/২০ দিনের মধ্যে এই কাজটা শেষ হয়ে যায়। যেহেতু এনআইডি কার্ড ছাড়া টিকার নিবন্ধন করা যায় না।
উল্লেখ্য, কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রেজিস্ট্রার দফতরের তথ্য মতে, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়টির মাত্র ৫১৮ জন আবাসিক শিক্ষার্থী টিকার নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন করেছেন।
তবে তারা বলছেন, হল প্রভোস্টের নোটিশ অনুযায়ী আমরা প্রশাসনকে আমাদের তথ্য প্রদান করি। কিন্তু এখন অব্দি জানি না তালিকায় আমাদের নাম আছে কিনা। আবার সুরক্ষা এ্যাপে যাচাই করতে গেলে বলে ভ্যাকসিনের জন্য নির্বাচিত না। বিষয়টা নিয়ে আমরা খুবই দুঃচিন্তার মধ্যে আছি।
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের লোকপ্রশাসন বিভাগের ১১ তম ব্যাচের আবাসিক শিক্ষার্থী এ এম নুর উদ্দীন হোসাইন বলেন, ইউজিসির কোভিড-১৯ ভ্যাকসিন তালিকায় কুবির শিক্ষার্থীদের ৫১৮ জনের তালিকা করা হয়েছে বলে জানতে পেরেছি। এই তালিকায় কারা থাকবে তাও সুনির্দিষ্ট ভাবে নিশ্চিত নয়। আবার অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিতে সুরক্ষা এ্যাপে আবাসিক শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে নিবন্ধন করতে গেলে- ‘দুঃখিত আপনি ভ্যাকসিনের জন্য নির্বাচিত নন’ বলে রেসপন্স করছে।
এ বিষয়ে কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রেজিস্ট্রার( চলতি দায়িত্ব) অধ্যাপক ড মো. আবু তাহের বলেন, হল প্রভোস্টদের কাছ থেকে আমরা ৫১৮ জনের যে তালিকা পেয়েছি সেটা ইউজিসিকে দিয়েছি স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রনালয়ের ওয়েব সাইডে প্রকাশের জন্য। অতি দ্রুত তারা টিকা পেয়ে যাবে।
