বঙ্গোপসাগরে মাছ শিকার করতে গিয়ে ঝড়ে কবলে পরে ২৪ জন জেলে সহ ডুবে যাওয়া ট্রলার এফবি বিলকিস। দুইটি ট্রলার তিন দিন ধরে অভিযান চালিয়ে ২৪ জন জেলের মধ্যে ২১ জন জেলেকে উদ্ধার করতে । বাকি তিন জেলের সন্ধান মেলেনি দশ দিনেও।
নিখোঁজ তিন জেলে হলেন একজন পাথরঘাটার উপজেলার কালমেঘা ইউনিয়নের আবুল কালাম এবং নোয়াখালীর আলমগীর ও বাকন আলী।
গত শুক্রবার সকাল ৬টার দিকে পাথরঘাটা থেকে ২০০ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমে বঙ্গোপসাগরে ২৪ জেলেসহ এফবি বিলকিস নামে একটি মাছ ধরার ট্রলার ডুবে যায়। চার ঘণ্টা ভেসে থাকার পর ২১ জেলে উদ্ধার হলেও ট্রলারসহ তিন জেলের খোঁজ এখন পর্যন্ত পাওয়া যায়নি।
জেলা ট্রলার মালিক সমিতির সভাপতি গোলাম মোস্তফা চৌধুরী জানান, কোস্টগার্ডের পাশাপাশি মালিক সমিতির এফবি সীমা ও এফবি সীজন নামের দুটি ফিশিং ট্রলার তিন দিন ধরে উদ্ধার অভিযান চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। কিন্তু ১০ দিন অতিবাহিত হলেও এখন পর্যন্ত কাউকে উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব হয়নি।
দক্ষিণ স্টেশন কোস্টগার্ড কমান্ডার লেফটেন্যান্ট ফাহিম শাহরিয়ার জানান, স্থানীয় বিভিন্ন স্টেশনে নিখোঁজ হওয়া জেলেদের বিষয়টি অবহিত করা হয়েছে। কোথাও কোনো সন্ধান পেলে জানানো হবে।
