নোয়াখালীর সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলার ৫নং অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়নের বিএনপির চেয়ারপার্সন বেগম খালেদা জিয়া ও সাবেক বিরোধী দলীয় চীপ হুইপ জয়নাল আবেদীন ফারুক (সাবেক এমপি)সহ বিভিন্ন শ্রেনী পেশার মানুষের রোগমুক্তি কামনা, দোয়া ও মিলাদ মাহফিলের আয়োজন করা হয়।
বুধবার ১৬জুন বিকালে অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়নের কাজিরহাট উত্তর বাজার সেলিম কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে বেগম জিয়া ও ফারুকের রোগমুক্তি কামনা, দোয়া ও মিলাদ মাহফিলের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।
অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়ন বিএনপির যুগ্ন আহবায়ক ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোঃ সেলিম উল্যা সেলিম সভাপতিত্বে ইউনিয়ন যুবদলের সভাপতি মোঃ নুরুল্লাহ চৌধুরীর সঞ্চালনায় এবং হাফেজ মাওলানা গিয়াস উদ্দিন এর কোরআন তেলাওয়াতের মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানের কার্যক্রম শুরু করা হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন, সোনাইমুড়ী উপজেলা বিএনপির সভাপতি ও সাবেক উপজেলার চেয়ারম্যান আনোয়ারুল হক কামাল।
অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখেন, অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়ন যুবদলের সভাপতি মোঃ নুরুল্লাহ চৌধুরী, অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়ন যুবদলের সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক শাহাদাত উল্যা আজাদ, অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়ন স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের সভাপতি মোঃ নিজাম উদ্দিন, সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক মোঃ সিহাব উদ্দিন সোহাগ, অম্বরনগর ইউনিয়ন বিএনপির অন্যতম নেতা মোঃ আবদুল মালেক, আলা উদ্দিন লিটন প্রমূখ।
দোয়া ও মিলাদ মাহফিলের মঞ্চে আরো উপস্থিত ছিলো, সাবেক মেম্বার মোঃ নূর নবী, গোলাম কবির পাটোয়ারী, শহীদ উল্যা (বিএ), মোঃ নুরুল হক সরকার, ছাত্রদলের অন্যতম নেতা মেহেদী হাসান শুভ ও শারাফাত রাব্বানী সহ উপজেলা ও বিভিন্ন ইউনিয়নের বিএনপি যুবদল ছাত্রদল স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও অঙ্গসংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ।
