নেছারাবাদে বজ্রপাতে স্বামী -স্ত্রীর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। নিহতরা হলো আবুল কালাম (৫৫) ও তার স্ত্রী জাহানারা বেগম (৫০)।
৭ জুন (সোমবার) দুপুরে উপজেলার পুর্ব গুয়ারেখা গ্রামে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে। ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান সুব্রত কুমার ঠাকুর জানান, ওইদিন বেলা আনুমানিক ১ টার দিকে স্বামী-স্ত্রী মিলে ছাগল রাখার ঘরের চালে পলিথিন টানাতে ছিলেন।
এ সময় হালকা বৃষ্টির সাথে আকস্মিক বজ্রপাতে ঘটনাস্থলে তাদের মৃত্যু হয়।
উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মো. মোশারেফ হোসেন ঘটনার সতত্যা নিশ্চিত করেন। আবুল কালাম ওই গ্রামের মৃত আব্দুল কাদেরের ছেলে।
