জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নতুন উপ-উপাচার্য (প্রশাসন) হিসেবে নিয়োগ পেয়েছেন অধ্যাপক শেখ মো. মনজুরুল হক।
জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভূগোল ও পরিবেশ বিভাগের এই অধ্যাপক বর্তমানে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কোষাধ্যক্ষ হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।
মঙ্গলবার শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের সরকারি সাধারণ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শাখা থেকে প্রজ্ঞাপন প্রকাশ করা হয়।
প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়- শেখ মো. মনজুরুল হককে আগামী চার বছরের জন্য জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপ-উপাচার্য (প্রশাসন) হিসেবে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
বর্তমান উপ-উপাচার্য হিসেবে রয়েছেন অধ্যাপক আমির হোসেন। তার মেয়াদ শেষ হলে আগামী ৯ জুলাই থেকে অধ্যাপক শেখ মো. মনজুরুল হকের উপ-উপাচার্য হিসেবে নিয়োগ কার্যকর হবে।
