ভাস্কর সরকার (রাবি প্রতিনিধি): স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে দেশের সব শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খুলে দেয়ার দাবিতে বিভিন্ন জেলায় মানববন্ধন করেছেন স্কুল, কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা। একই ধারাবাহিকতায় স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে স্কুল, কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় খুলে দেয়ার দাবিতে রাজশাহীর সাহেববাজার জিরো পয়েন্টে মানববন্ধন করেছে রাজশাহীর শিক্ষার্থীরা। এসময় স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সহ সব শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ও হল খুলে দেয়াসহ ৬টি দাবি জানান তারা।
আজ সোমবার বেলা ১১টায় রাজশাহী নগরের সাহেববাজার জিরো পয়েন্টে এ কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়। কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নেন বিভিন্ন কলেজ–বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দুই শতাধিক শিক্ষার্থী। মানববন্ধন থেকে দ্রুত সময়ে টিকা কার্যক্রম শেষ করে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খুলে দেওয়ার আহ্বান জানান শিক্ষার্থীরা।
রাজশাহীর বেসরকারি নর্থ বেঙ্গল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সটির শিক্ষার্থী জান্নাতুল সাবিরার সঞ্চালনায় ও ইশতেয়াক আহম্মেদেরর সভাপতিত্বে বক্তব্য দেন রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী মহব্বত হোসেন, রাজশাহী কলেজের জিন্নাত আরা, রাজশাহী নিউ গভ. ডিগ্রি কলেজের নাদিম সিনা, বেসরকারি বরেন্দ্র বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়েরর সাকিল আহমেদ প্রমুখ।
শিক্ষার্থীরা কর্মসূচিতে বলেন, করোনার কারণে দীর্ঘ ১৪ মাস ধরে সব শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান বন্ধ রয়েছে। এ সময়ে করোনায় সবচেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছেন শিক্ষার্থীরা। লেখাপড়ার ধারা থেকে শিক্ষার্থীরা ছিটকে পড়ছেন। অনেকে মানসিকভাবে হতাশায় ভুগছেন। এভাবে দীর্ঘদিন স্কুল–কলেজ–বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বন্ধ রেখে শিক্ষাকে ধ্বংসের দ্বারপ্রান্তে নেওয়া হচ্ছে। কিন্তু একই সময়ে আর সবকিছু চালু রয়েছে। সরকারের এই দ্বৈতনীতি অগ্রহণযোগ্য ও প্রহসনের।
শিক্ষার্থীরা আরও বলেন, করোনার মধ্যে অনলাইন ক্লাসের নাম করে একধরনের বৈষম্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এ ক্লাসে খুব কমসংখ্যক শিক্ষার্থী অংশ নিতে পেরেছেন। অনেকের সক্ষমতা নেই কিংবা এলাকাভিত্তিক ইন্টারনেট দুর্বলতা রয়েছে। তাই শিক্ষাকে বাঁচাতে দ্রুত টিকা দিয়ে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খোলার জন্য প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ও শিক্ষামন্ত্রীর কাছে আহ্বান জানানো হয়।
