অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে “নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই” জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলা শাখার পক্ষ থেকে গত শনিবার আলোচনাসভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলা শাখার সভাপতি ও সবার প্রিয়মুখ জাহেদ আহমদের সভাপতিত্বে এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক আরেক প্রিয়মুখ সিদ্দিকুর রহমান তালুকদারের পরিচালনায় অনুষ্ঠিত আলোচনা সভায় প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন, পাটলি ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান ও রাজনীতিবিদ সিরাজুল হক। বিশেষ অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন, জগন্নাথপুর পৌরসভার জন-নন্দিত প্যানেল মেয়র সাফরোজ ইসলাম মুন্না ও সাবেক পৌর কাউন্সিলর গিয়াস উদ্দিন মুন্না।
এ সময় বক্তব্য রাখেন ও উপস্থিত ছিলেন জগন্নাথপুর বাজারের বিশিষ্ট ব্যবসায়ী মকবুল হোসেন ভূইয়া, বকুল মিয়া, জগন্নাথপুর বাজার বনিক সমিতির যুগ্ম-সাধারণ সম্পাদক আনোয়ার হোসেন আনহার, ব্যবসায়ী খালিক আহমদ, নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলা শাখার যুগ্ম-সাধারণ সম্পাদক জয়নুল হক জয় প্রমূখ। সভার শুরুতে পবিত্র কোরআন থেকে তেলাওয়াত করেন নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলা শাখার সহ-সাধারণ সম্পাদক জালাল হোসেন। সভায় যুক্তরাজ্যের টাওয়ার হ্যামলেটস এর নব-নির্বাচিত ডেপুটি স্পিকার জেনিথ রহমানের সফলতা ও দীর্ঘায়ূ কামনা করা হয়।
