মুরাদ মিয়া, সুনামগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি: মাছের প্রজনন মৌসুমে ডিমওয়ালা মাছ রক্ষায় তাহিরপুর থানা পুলিশের বিশেষ অভিযান।
আজ সোমবার (১৬মে) তাহিরপুর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ও তাহিরপুর থানা অফিসার ইন-চার্জ এর নির্দেশে,টেকেরঘাট পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির ক্যাম্প ইন-চার্জ এ এস আই আলা উদ্দিন ও শ্রীপুর উত্তর ইউনিয়নের সহকারী ভূমি কর্মকর্তা (তহসিলদার) মো: রুহুল আমিন এর নেতৃত্বে সকাল থেকে দুপুর পর্যন্ত টাঙ্গুয়ার হাওরের রৌহা,রুপাবুই,চটানিয়া,লেচুয়ামারা,ও পাটলাই নদী সহ বিভিন্ন স্থানে অভিযান চালিয়ে প্রায় দেড় লক্ষাধিক টাকার ছাই,কারেন্ট জাল সহ মাছ ধরার বিভিন্ন সরঞ্জাম আটক করে আগুনেপুড়ে ধ্বংস করা হয়।
সুশীল সমাজ প্রতিনিধিদের তথ্যমতে জানাযায়,পুলিশ আসারপূর্বেই কোন এক অদৃশ্য সংবাদে নদী হতে বড়বড় বানরিজাল গুলো সরিয়ে ফেলে স্থানীয় অসাধু জেলেরা,তবে বর্তমান প্রজনন মৌসুমে এমন একটি অভিযান কে সাধুবাদ জানিয়েছেন তারা।
অভিযান পরিচালনার সময় উনাদের সাথে ছিলেন টেকেরঘাট পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির এ এস আই শামছু মিয়া, পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির একাধিক পুলিশের সদস্য,গোলাবাড়ি আনসার ক্যাম্পের এ পিসি মো: হোসাইন আহমদ,টাঙ্গুয়ার হাওর ককমিউনিটি গার্ডের সদস্যরা।
এ বিষয়ে তাহিরপুর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা পদ্মাসন সিংহ বলেন মাছের প্রজনন মৌসুমে ডিমওয়ালা মাছ রক্ষায় এ অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে।
এ বিষয়ে তাহিরপুর থানা অফিসার ইন-চার্জ মো: আব্দুল লতিফ তরফদার বলেন মা মাছ রক্ষায় জনস্বার্থে তাহিরপুর থানা পুলিশ যথাসময়ে প্রস্তুত রয়েছে।
