তিন ম্যাচের ওয়ানডে সিরিজ খেলতে রোববার বাংলাদেশ সফরে আসছে শ্রীলঙ্কা জাতীয় ক্রিকেট দল। সকাল ৮টা ৪৫ মিনিটে ঢাকার হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে পা রাখবে সফরকারীরা।
বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের (বিসিবি) লজিস্টিক বিভাগ সূত্রে জানা গেছে, বিশেষ ব্যবস্থা বা চার্টার্ড ফ্লাইটে আসছে না শ্রীলঙ্কা দল। শ্রীলঙ্কান এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি ফ্লাইটে ঢাকার পথে রওনা হবেন ক্রিকেটাররা।
সরাসরি হোটেলে উঠবে গোটা দল। তিন দিন রুম কোয়ারেন্টাইন করবে তারা। এর মধ্যে দুবার করোনা পরীক্ষার ফল নেগেটিভ আসলে আগামী ১৯ মে থেকে নিজেদের মধ্যে অনুশীলনের সুযোগ মিলবে।
২৩ মে মিরপুরে সিরিজের প্রথম ওয়ানডে। বাকি দুটি ম্যাচ ২৫ ও ২৮ মে। সবগুলো ম্যাচই দিবা-রাত্রির।
ঈদের ছুটি শেষে স্বাগতিক বাংলাদেশ দল রোববার থেকে ফের অনুশীলন শুরু করবে। কোভিড পরিস্থিতির কারণে শ্রীলঙ্কা ১৮ ক্রিকেটার নিয়ে টাইগার ডেরায় আসছে।
