আর জে শান্ত,ভোলা: ভোলার চরফ্যাশন উপজেলায় জমিতে চাষ দিতে গিয়ে বজ্রপাতে দুই কৃষকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। সোমবার দুপুর দেড়টায় উপজেলার হাজারিগঞ্জ ও আসলামপুর ইউনিয়নে পৃথক ঘটনা দুটি ঘটে। এদের মধ্যে হাজারীগঞ্জ ইউনিয়নের ৭নং ওয়ার্ডের কালু বেপারীর ছেলে শাহে আলম (৩৫) ও আসলামপুর ইউনিয়নের বর্দার হাট ৯নং ওয়ার্ডের বাসিন্দা হানিফ চৌকিদারের ছেলে আলাউদ্দিন (৩৯)। আসলামপুর ইউনিয়ন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা কামাল হোসেন জানান, মৃত আলাউদ্দিন একজন কৃষক ও পাওয়ার টিলারের ড্রাইভার হিসেবে এলাকায় কাজ করতো। দুপুর দেড়টার দিকে আলাউদ্দিন বাড়ির পাশে গাছ থেকে ঝড়ে পড়া তুলা কুড়াতে যায়। হটাৎ বজ্রপাতে আলাউদ্দিন ঘটনাস্থলেই মারা যায়।
অন্যদিকে হাজারীগঞ্জ ইউনিয়নে সমাজ সেবক মোসলেউদ্দিন জানান, পূর্ব হাজারীগঞ্জ গ্রামে জমিতে ধান কাটার সময় বজ্রপাতে দগ্ধ হয় দুুই কৃষক। স্থানিয়রা দগ্ধ দুই কৃষককে উদ্ধার করে চরফ্যাশন উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে আসে। পরে জরুরী বিভাগের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাদের মধ্যে শাহে আলম কে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।
ঘটনার সত্যতা স্বীকার করে শশীভূষণ ও চরফ্যাশন থানা পুলিশ মৃত দুজনের মরদেহ পরিবারের নিকট হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে বলে জানান।
