আবুল কাশেম রুমন,সিলেট: সিলেট সিটি কর্পোরেশন ২৫নং ওয়ার্ডের খোজারখলা আদর্শ সমাজ কল্যাণ সংঘের সভাপতি আকমল আলী মালাই’র উপর সন্ত্রাসী হামলার তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছেন খোজারখলা আদর্শ সমাজ কল্যাণ সংঘের নেতৃবৃন্দ।
২৯ এপ্রিল বৃহস্পতিবার বাদ তারাবির নামাজের পর খোজারখলা আদর্শ সমাজ কল্যাণ সংঘের কার্যকরী কমিটির জরুরি সভায় থেকে সংঘের সভাপতি আকমল আলী মালাই’র উপর সন্ত্রাসী হামলার ঘটনার নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানানো হয়।
সংঘের সহ-সভাপতি আবুল কালাম আজাদের সভাপতিত্বে ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক লাহিন আহমদ রুহেলের পরিচালনায় সভায় বক্তব্য রাখেন ও উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংঘের সহ সভাপতি বদরুল আলম রিপন, সহ সাধারণ সম্পাদক আব্দুছ সবুর মিন্টু, সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক মনিরুল ইসলাম সোহান, সমাজসেবা সম্পাদক আব্দুল কুদ্দুস তালুকদার, নির্বাহী সদস্য জাহিদুল ইসলাম জনি, সাগর আহমদ, প্রচার সম্পাদক হেলাল আহমদ ও সহ প্রচার সম্পাদক শাকের মিয়া প্রমুখ।
সভায় বক্তারা সংঘের সভাপতি আকমল আলী মালাই’র উপর সন্ত্রাসী হামলার তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানিয়ে বলেন, অনতিবিলম্বে হামলার ঘটনার সাথে জড়িতদের সঠিক তদন্ততের মাধ্যমে চিহ্নিত করে
আইনের আওতায় এনে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি প্রদানের জন্য প্রশাসনের প্রতি আহবান জানান।
বক্তারা আরো বলেন, একজন সমাজসেবীর উপর এ ধরনের ন্যাক্কারজনক ঘটনা অত্যান্ত দুঃখজনক। হামলার ঘটনা সাথে জড়িত আসামিদের দ্রæত আইনের আওতায় আনা না হলে খোজারখলা আদর্শ সমাজ কল্যাণ সংঘ কঠোর কর্মসূচি দিতে বাধ্য হবে।
উল্লেখ, গত ২৮ এপ্রিল বুধবার রাত সাড়ে ১১ টায় খোজারখলায় আকমল আলী মালাই’র উপর সন্ত্রাসীরা ধারালো অস্ত্র দিয়ে হামলা চালায়। হামলাকারীরা মালাইকে গুরুত্বর আহত করে রাস্তায় ফেলে যায়। তার আত চিৎকারে এলাকার লোকজন এগিয়ে এসে উদ্ধার করে হাসপাতালে প্রেরণ করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি সিলেট এম.এ.জি ওসমানী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন
